Miti Biosystems is a biotechnology company specialized in the production of polycyclic peptide libraries for the discovery of peptide drugs and mimotopes. Utilizing our patented platform technology we apply randomization techniques to natural product peptide scaffolds in order to achieve complete chemical diversity. By using natural product scaffolds we are able to harness the groundwork of Nature, as these scaffolds have been selected and optimized for biological activity through millions of years of evolution. The combination of ultra diverse structural libraries and display techniques enables a rapid screening of libraries for substances with desired physico-chemical properties. Miti Biosystems is a spin-out from the Research Institute for Limnology (University of Innsbruck) and based on the findings of Dr. Guntram Christiansen.
